About Me
I have over 25 years of experience as a psychotherapist, working with families, children, teenagers, couples, and individual adults. In addition to private clinical practice, I have taught and supervised for over 15 years at John F. Kennedy University in its Clinical Psychology Masters Degree Program. I have always worked with a culturally diverse clientele and have dealt with a wide range of presenting problems, including depression, post traumatic stress, physical and sexual abuse of children, family communication issues, loss and bereavement.
I also have spent a good deal of time counseling parents (individually and in groups) on more effective parenting techniques and helping students (ranging in age from 8 to 21) achieve their potential through a combination of counseling and academic tutoring.
